Ib Kofod-Larsen for Christensen & Larsen, model U-56 'Elizabeth' with ottoman, in teak and cognac leather, Denmark, 1956.

This is Kofod-Larsen's highest-quality armchair with ottoman, with a teak frame and beautiful details in the design. The leather holds beautiful original leather with authentic patina. The carved teak frame runs all the way from the front pointy front via the legs to the rear. Upholstered in cognac leather, with a very comfortable loose cushion. Produced by Christensen & Larsen in 1956 and since it was purchased by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during their visit to Copenhagen in 1958, it is called the “Elizabeth Chair.”
