Horst Brüning is a designer whose keys ideas are minimalism, functionality, durability and the spirit of the time. On the other hand however, Brüning 's furniture is timeless. He studied architecture and interior design at the College of Graphic Arts in Hamburg until 1956. In 1963 he set up an architecture and design office in Stuttgart. During this period, Brüning came in contact with Kill International. Kill International is an established and famous manufacturer, who have also produced many designs by Preben Fabricius and Jörgen Kastholm. Brüning has also worked together with this architect duo.
