Henning Larsen Set of Six Tubular Dining Chairs with Cognac Leather
Henning Larsen for Fritz Hansen, set of 6 dining chairs, chrome-plated steel, leather, Denmark, 1960s
A set of 6 dining/armchairs, model 9230, by Danish architect and designer Henning Larsen for Fritz Hansen. Originally designed for the Kar Cafe in Copenhagen in 1967. These elegant chairs are constructed of bent chrome-plated steel and leather. The tubular frame is consists of 2 parts, which are shaped minimalistic and placed mirrored towards each other, forming the legs and backrest. Very inventive design.
