Hans Olsen Sofa in Black Leather and Teak

This leather four seat sofa is designed by the Dane Hans Olsen for Brande. The sofa is executed in black leather that has beautifully patinated due to age. The sofa has a clean, modest aesthetic with warm detailing and use of materials. The armrests bend slightly outwards and complement the deep black leather wonderfully. Hans Olsen was a designer who was a student of Kaare Klint and who belonged to a school that used clean solid lines. He set up his own design studio in 1953.
