Hans Könecke for Tecta, armchair, suede and metal, Germany, 1960s

This lounge chair is another great example of German Modernist furniture, designed by architect Hans Könecke in the 1960s. This model features a high back, in comparison to Könecke's well known D99 armchair. The back is curved at the top. It features a tubular steel and flat steel frame that holds the seat that is made of beige suede. Also the spanned armrests are made of suede.

The chair is in good condition and the suede shows little signs of age and use.
