H.Th.A.Busquet for Hala Zeist, floor lamp, metal, the Netherlands, 1960s.

With its yellow shade this Dutch lamp catches the eye. The conical shade is held by a slim metal base with a highlighted black ball end. The lamp has a playful character with this bright shade and circular cut-outs that let light though. 

Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin (H. Th. J. A.) Busquet well known for his work for the Hala lamp factory. The factory, that was founded during years of economic crisis in the Netherlands, produced simple yet effective designs. Busquet was the lead designer of Hala until 1955.
