Guillerme and Chambron Buffet in Oak and Ceramic

This characteristic cabinet in solid oak is designed by the French designer duo Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) and Robert Guillerme (1913-1990). It features two sliding front doors as well as one pullout doors on the left sides that provide excellent storage facilities. The sliding doors are finished with geometric inlayed wood. The legs are very sculptural which is another trademark of the design duo. Highly versatile high board with plenty of storage space. The other quintessential element of this cabinet are the ceramic tiles and carved front.
The French designer duo Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) and Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) started their production in the postwar period. Many of the furniture designed by this duo this shows a strong character and has great expressive woodwork. The duo installed themselves in an old factory were the machinery was used to make rifles. Guillerme & Chambron saw the potential of these machinery and decided to continue production as it was installed and used them for the design of their high back chairs. The line of different furniture pieces was made in small editions. They call their collection “Votre Maison” which means “Your home”.
