This eccentric pair of cabinets is designed by the creative Italian designer Guido Faleschini as part of the ‘Pace Collection’ for Italian furniture company I4 Mariani. The cabinet truly exudes the bright and bold vibe and colorfulness of the seventies. A sophisticated storage facility is created by arranging each interior of the cabinet with a different compartment; shelves, drawers and a rail system. This allows the user to store their personal belongings by placing them behind the doors or be stowed in the shelves with the open and glass layout, allowing the user to display objects such as books and glassware to one’s taste. The front features leather clad door panels in a striking cognac color combined with a leather strapped chromed ring pulls that underline the essence of the design. Furthermore, each panel is surrounded by a chromed steel frame, emphasizing the clear lines of the design. The cabinet feels retro, without clashing with contemporary interiors. The interior is signed with a manufacturer’s label stating ‘’Mariani 22060 Perticato Made in Italy’’.
