Giuseppe Scapinelli Attributed 'Bossa Nova' Table 1950s
Dining table, in wood, attributed to Giuseppe Scapinelli, Brazil, 1950s.
Dining table inspired on the Brazilian music stream from the late 1950s 'Boss nova'. This piece is coming from a factory near Sao Paulo and is part of a living room suite we were able to become which was especially designed for the luxurious clients in that time, which the stamps on the pieces reveal. Those stamps meant that the pieces were already paid and meant for export mainly to the Unites states and Italy.
The table has a very dynamic shaped black coated base referring to that Boss Nova stream which was upcoming and inspiring for a lot of people in that period. There is a small color difference between the leaves of the tabletop.
