Gigi Sabadin Chairs in Plywood for Stilwood
Gigi Sabadin for Stilwood, set of six chairs, plywood, Italy, 1970s. An inventive design by the Italian Gigi Sabadin, these chairs are made of bent plywood with a veneered finish. The organic design seems to be made out of one piece, which is cut and bent. On three legs forms the floating shape its way up and creates a seating and backrest. The backrest features an open space adding extra lightness to the appearance of this chair. The chairs are also easy to store since they are stackable.
