Gianemilio Piero e Anna Monti for Ibis, hanging lamp model 'Tetto', cotton canvas, teak, chrome-plated metal, Italy, 1975.

This unique and rare pendant owns its name 'Tetto', meaning roof in Italian, to the shape of the construction. The structure is based on a pyramid shape consisting of foldable canvas sheets in the shape of a triangle. The bottom is tightened by wooden lats that are carefully inserted into special seams. Geometry is at the forefront of this piece, expressed through clear lines and symmetrical features. The artistry and novelty of this particular ceiling lamp ensures that it can be hung as a visual statement in one's interior.
