Made of walnut with original brown leather writing surface and sliding doors, resting on a base in steel, the desk 4658 does not only convinces through his various textures and materials. But also did George Nelson succeeded in the design of a highly versatile desk. One storage compartment underneath the tabletop as well as a perforated steel basket provide storage in addition to the cabinet above the table. The interior is structured with various designed shelves and drawers.

The wood is overall in good condition, the desk has on the left side is a small damage in the veneer. Furthermore, the leather is in good condition and shows a subtle patina.
