A stunning and practical desk by the American designer. With this desk George Nelson succeeded greatly in designing a highly versatile piece of furniture. Made in a rich walnut wood and with the original brown leather writing surface, this desk does not only convince visually through the various textures and materials, but also in its practicality. One storage compartment underneath the tabletop as well as a perforated steel waste basket provide storage in addition to the cabinet above the table. The interior is structured with various designed shelves and drawers.
The wood is overall in good condition, the desk has on the left side is a small damage in the veneer. Furthermore, the leather is in good condition and shows a subtle patina.
