Gabriel Englinger Pair of Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Velvet Upholstery

$21,800.00

Gabriel Englinger, lounge chairs, wood, long pile velvet upholstery, France, 1928.

Rare pair of Art Deco armchairs designed by Gabriel Englinger in 1928. These chairs are upholstered in a taupe colored long pile velvet fabric which complements the warm stained color of the wood in an elegant manner. The chairs are a wonderful example of Art Deco luxury with clean and geometrical lines as seen in the sharp edges of the armrests, contrasted by the overall organic lines and round shape of the base.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains.
