A truly magnificent Italian floor lamp designed by the multidisciplinary artist Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) for the esteemed glass company Venini where he worked on free-lance basis. His background as a fine artist, taking inspiration from modern art, graphic design and fashion, has given rise to this iconic light object. A refined construction comprised of a stem with a wider top and base that gradually narrows towards the middle. The alternation of opaque red and transparent blue glass creates a pronounced color contrast that serves the human gaze in an aesthetic way.
