Fritz Hansen, armchair, skai, beech, Denmark, 1930s

Easy chair manufactured by Fritz Hansen in the 1930s. This armchair is made out of beautifully patinated skai that is colored in red and black. Moreover, the chair is elegantly shaped which is visible in the curved back that flows into the armrests. The backlegs are slightly angled, adding an extra dimension to the character. Due to the multi-colors, the contours of the chair are highlighted.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
