This elegant three-seat sofa is made by master cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen. This refined sofa is a classic pieces. The backrest holds small wings, which runs over into the armrests. The front legs show elegant details and great woodcarving. The seat is thick and creates a comfortable look.
The pastel colored, patterned fabric is in good condition with some signs of age and use. Frits Henningsen (1889-1965) was a cabinet maker. Relatively little has been written about this master cabinet maker. He had his own shop in Copenhagen. His main concerns were the users of his furniture and the solid quality of his work. All his works are by his own workshop.
