Set of seven dining chairs, oak, France, 1940s.

This set of unique and sturdy dining chairs has both a hint of Art Deco and minimalism at the same time. The patinated oak is simply wonderfully matched with the red lacquered seating. But what is really striking about these chairs are their metal feet. The feet have once been attached to the floor. Making it seem as these where once used on a ship. At the same time, these chairs resemble the style of Georges Candilis & Anja Blomstedt.
