French Pair of Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Red and Green Velvet
Lounge chairs, fabric and oak, France, 1930s-1940s.
These art deco lounge chairs feature a majestic, curved backrest with elegant, decorative armrests, and a voluptuous seat. The short legs are carved in a classical way. The voluptuous upholstery creates a very comfortable seating area due to the thickness of the seat.
Please note that the chairs show small differences, such as the thickness of the seat and the backrests. Also, the green chair is finished with nails.
The red and green colored velours is in fair condition with signs of age and use, such as discoloration and some fading. Therefore, we advise to reupholster the set. Please ask our advisors for more information about the almost endless possibilities for re-upholstery that our atelier has to offer. The professional and experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier are specialists in the re-upholstery of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value.
