French Art Deco Hexagonal Desk in Walnut
Freestanding desk, walnut, wood, France, 1940s
This hexagon shaped desk is made in France in the 1940s. The shapes used in the design of this desk make it special and rare to find. There is room for three separate work stations within this desks design. The top offers work space on the straight parts of the desk.
The table top also has three sides that have arched notches in them, under those there are chest of drawers situated. The drawers are another splendid detail in this piece of furniture, because of the circular openings that are aligned perfectly straight when closed. This desk is designed to be freestanding in a room and would be a beautiful addition to a study or library.
