Franz Xaver Sproll Extendable Dining Table in Elm

$4,450.00

Franz Xaver Sproll, dining table, elm, metal, Switzerland, 1940s

In the smallest version this dining table by Swiss designer Franz Xaver Sproll features an almost squared top. To extend the size a second top can be unfolded. It is adjusted with metal joints and connect both parts. Characteristic about the table is the base. Four legs are standing on an organic shaped squared base. A small top between the legs provides some storage space. The elmwood shows a beautiful all-over patina, which contributes to the natural expression of this table.
