Franz Köttgen for Kill International Two-Seat Sofa in Red Leather
Franz Köttgen for Kill International, two-seat sofa, leather, Denmark, 1960s
Highly comfortable settee in patinated red leather by Franz Köttgen. The design is simplistic, yet very modern. Leather is stitched and molded on to the frame and legs, a type of architectural design used by mainly Italian designers. The frame is tight and cubic, covered with thick, tufted cushions. The thick, red buffalo leather is a nice overall patina with differences in color tones.
