Francois Letourneur Reupholstered Lounge Chair
Francois Letourneur for Maurice Mourra, lounge chair, fabric and brass, France, 1950s
Lounge chair which shows a variety of well designed bold lines which provide each chair with an elegant look that reminds of the American streamlined designs. The French armchair is designed by Francois Letourneur for Maurice Mourra. The large, curved armrests have an appealing opening from the side, which emphasizes the rounded shape of the armrests. The tapered legs are made of brass and are richly patinated.
The chair is restored and reupholstered by the experenced craftmen in our in-house atelier. For the reupholstery our design team chose for a warm yellow velvet.
