Fabricius and Kastholm Brown Leather Sofa with Steel Frame
Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm, sofa model BO561, brushed steel and brown leather, Denmark, 1962.
This modern slipper sofa is executed in steel and leather, holding an L-shaped seating. This shape is repeated in the legs. Besides this slick and Minimalist design, this sofa is one of the most comfortable midcentury pieces that we know. The base of this easy chair gives them their characteristic and open character. The soft-brown leather upholstery is in fair condition. Most of the furniture of Danish designer duo Fabricius and Kastholm was produced by the German manufacturer Kill International, while the BO561 models were produced in their home country Denmark by Bo-Ex.
