Jean Claude Dresse, cocktail table, resin, steel and agate, Belgium, 1970s.

This luxurious and artistic resin center table is a design by the hand of Belgian designer Jean Claude Dresse. The table consists of a resin tabletop, resting on lacquered metal feet. The oval shaped tabletop is finished with a naturalistic pattern and inlayed with large pieces of agate stones. The organic lines in resin are drawn by Dresse and etched after. The Brutalist steel legs build up in solely horizontal and vertical lines, which is a striking combination with the organic tabletop. A piece that finds itself between the borders of furniture design and art. The dining table is in good condition and signs on the side.

Jean Claude Dresse (1946) is a Belgian artist and designer. He graduated from the art academy in Charleroi.
