Ernst Kuhn Attributed Dining Chairs in Leather and Solid Rosewood
Ernst Kühn for Lysberg Hansen & Therp (attributed), set of twelve chairs in solid rosewood and leather, Denmark, 1935-1940.
This luxurious dining room set of early Danish chairs is most likely designed by the cabinetmaker Ernst Kühn for Lysberg Hansen & Therp. The chairs are executed in rosewood and upholstered with a natural leather. The chairs have been upholstered recently, which means the leather is in very good condition, including the inner work. The set has a Classic, Traditional Design with soft lines and crafted details. The set, twelve in total, has two armchairs and ten regular dining chairs that together make a grand set of chairs. The combination of the rosewood and leather is a Classic combination that is still relevant to this day.
