Erik Wørts for Niels Eilsersen, pair of armchairs, rosewood and leather, Denmark, 1960s.

These sturdy lounge chairs with refined detail are designed by Danish designer Erik Wørts. The safari easy chairs have a strong expression due to the leather armrests and seating and back. The wooden frame emphasizes the open character of these lounge chairs and holds beautiful refined details, as seen in the ends of the legs. The brown leather upholstery is a nice robust contrast to the fine wooden frame.

Please note that the leather of these chairs are different in color tones. One chair is more red-cognac, while the other is brown-cognac.
