Erik Karlström Side Chairs in Cognac Leather 1965
Set of dining chairs by Erik Karstrom, cognac to orange leather and metal, produced in Sweden, 1965.
These exceptional and rare chairs are designed for the Civic Hall Orebro, built in 1957-1965, which was designed by the architect Erik & Tora Ahlsén. The interior was designed by Erik Karlström and Åke Axelsson. The chairs feature bended, curved backrests and a straight seat. The delicate, open tubular frame is used as a backdrop for the leather parts of this set of chairs.
