Elegant three-seat sofa by Erik Ole Jørgensen. This sofa has a luxurious appearance due to the tufted cognac leather and the high backrest and armrests. The orderly placed leather buttons create a beautiful pattern. The natural leather has beautifully aged and shows a nice patina. A light wooden frame supports the sofa.
Originally trained as an upholsterer, Erik Ole Jørgensen (1925-2002) later pursued a career as a designer. He graduated from the Design School in 1944 and began designing furniture and fabrics, collaborating with Kaare Klint along the way. Jørgensen's dual expertise as an upholsterer and designer enabled him to create functional furniture with exceptionally high-quality upholstery, earning him a place among the most esteemed Danish furniture designers.
