Emiel Veranneman, set of eight 'Osaka Chairs', wood and leather, Belgium 1970. The Osaka dining chair was designed by Emiel Veranneman for the Belgian pavilion at the Wold Exhibition 1970 in Osaka, Japan. With their round backrests these chairs have a unique expression. The dark stained and lacquered wood makes a wonderful combination with the beige leather of the backrest and seating upholstery.
