The Osaka dining chair was designed by Emiel Veranneman for the Belgian pavilion at the 1970 Wold Exhibition in Osaka, Japan. These chairs are a combination of traditional Flemish woodwork with Asian influences. By their wide appearance and round back these chairs has a very strong character and expression. The solid wooden frame emphasizes this sturdy expression. The dark stained and lacquered wood makes a wonderful combination with the beige leather.
Please note that the leather of these chairs is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. If interested, reupholstery is possible thanks to our in-house atelier. The very experienced craftsman are specialists on reupholstery of design furniture.
