This pair of grand armchairs by Edward Wormley designed in 1957 consists of a black lacquered frame and a red colored leather upholstery. The clear, angular lines are giving these chairs a strong appearance.

Mobilier Universel had the sole right to produce furniture for Dunbar. Jules Wabbes, at that time still very much involved with Mobilier Universel picked the desired models designed bu Edward Wormley for manufacturing. The designs that Wabbes choose from Wormley's collection were those that featured a simplistic, clean lines that would prove the be timeless.
