Edward Wormley for Dunbar, 'Oasis' sofa model 5200, fabric and mahogany, United States, 1952.

Stunning curved sofa designed by Edward Wormely in 1952. This theatrical model features beautiful lines, with a high back on both ends and lower in the middle. The seat is bulky and round at the end as well and more narrow in the middle. A great Midcentury center piece for your living room.

The original upholstery is in good condition with some signs of age and use, mainly light color fading and small discolorations on the seat. Though the upholstery is good, if you prefer the reupholster the sofa our in-house atelier can take care of this. The professional and experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier are specialists in the reupholstery of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value.
