Edward Wormley for Dunbar Two Part Split-Arm Corner Sofa
Edward Wormley for Dunbar, two part corner sofa, wood, velvet upholstery, United States, 1960s Edward Wormley designed this large corner sofa for Dunbar in the 1960s. Characterized is the design by the outwards inclined armrests which add a certain dynamic to the sofa. They are placed on the same height as the backrest. Loose cushions provide great seating comfort. The yellow velvet upholstery creates a strong contrast with the dark wooden legs. Remarkable is the decorative rise of the legs at the back of the sofa. The sofa consists out of the large sofa with two armrests and a shorter sofa with only one armrest.
