Dining Chairs by TON in Pine and Beige Upholstery
Ton, dining chairs, pine, fabric, Europe, 1950s
Pine dining chairs with beige fishbone patterned upholstery, model without armrests. The elegant designed open shape of the frame in combination with the natural color upholstery makes this chair very versatile for any type of interior. The design looks simplistic, yet these chairs were made with high attention and great craftsmanship.
Ton was founded after World War Two in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, the Ton company asked various architects to contribute in the researc process and develop new design forms by using the renowned technology of bentwood, leading to new, more contemporary designs.
We would like to point out that we have a large number of these chairs in our collection, perfect for furnishing a larger project or space. The price listed is per item.
