De Sede, lounge chair model 'DS31' with ottoman, leather, metal, Switzerland, 1970s

Highly comfortable 'DS31' swivel chair with a high back and ottoman in black leather by DeSede. The design is simplistic, yet very modern. The tilted seat is wide with outstanding, curved armrests. The seat is finished with a thick comfortable back cushion and seat cushion.

De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed with the main focus on the people who own and use them. Therefore, all the De Sede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
