De Sede, 'DS-15' sectional sofa, patinated leather, Switzerland, 1970s.
This high-quality sectional sofa designed by De Sede in the 1970s contains six regular elements and one corner elements, making it possible to arrange this sofa to your own wishes. This set becomes very versatile as it allows you to create different compositions. This piece of furniture is designed to provide an ultimate level of comfort due to the thick seating cushions and the very large seat. The seats are upholstered with the original leather in a cognac brown color, which adds to the essence of the design.
De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed and are completely made and focused on the people who use them. Therefore, all the DeSede items are made out of the best materials which results in durability and comfort.
Please note that this sofa is in used condition and shows signs of wear and use, for instance dryness and a few small holes. Restoring of the leather can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
