De Pas D'urbino and Lomazzi Club Chairs in Leather
'Piumino' lounge chairs by Jonathan de Pas, Donato D'urbino & Paolo Lomazzi for Dell'Oca, Italy, 1970.
These lounge chairs are completely moulded out of foam and covered with folded black, thick butter-soft leather. One of the mean traits of these chairs is their comfortable sitting comfort. Piumino, meaning downwards, is used as a title to reference to the downwards stretching leather.
Jonathan de Pas (1932-1991), Donato D'Urbino, Paolo Lomazzi together formed a design and architecture trio. Their style was mainly drawn from pop and postmodern styles.
