Danish Pair of Wingback Chairs in Illustrative Botanical Upholstery

Pair of wingback chairs, stained beech legs, sand to off-white fabric, Denmark, 1950s.

This pair of easy chairs has a grand wing and a buttoned back. The construction of the seat is based on delicate lines and curves that contribute to the chair's sophisticated appearance. The quite solid chair has an open and inviting look due to the slightly outward-facing armrests. The feet are small and conical and the back shows sections that are both aesthetic and ergonomic. This chair is a comfortable classic winged chair that will fit perfectly in a cosy corner.

Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
