Set of four dining chairs, leatherette, teak, Denmark, 1960s.
This set of four armchairs shows strong resemblances to the Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen’ chair for Gustav Bertelsen & Co designed in 1958. This classic set is being a wonderful example of Scandinavian design from the Midcentury period. The seating is characterized by curved lines and round shapes that contribute to the chair’s sophisticated appearance. The design has a natural appearance due to the black leatherette and the warm glow of the teak. The chairs rest on four spindle legs that accentuate the chair’s transparent and subtle look. The style of this set is based on simplified lines, absence of decoration and the use of neutral materials that are in great harmony.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
