Danish Reclining Wingback Chair with Original Upholstery 1950s
Armchair, yellow fabric and teak, Denmark, 1950s
This stately and extremely well-executed wingback chair shows an exquisite level of craftsmanship. The lines and finishes in this chair from 1950 are curvy yet crisp. The teak frame shows traits of the craftsmanship of Ib Kofod-Larsen or Ib Madsen. The modest wings form a great addition to the buttoned back and the slight space on the bottom of the backrest. The seat is slightly reclining in order to provide maximum comfort.
