Pair of armchairs, fabric and oak, Denmark, 1940s

The most distinctive feature of these Danish lounge chairs are the curved, stained oak armrests. The backrest and seat are distinguised from each other, creating a more airy look. The seat is wide and the backrest becomes even wider towards the top. The chairs have been recently reupholstered in a purple woven fabric, finished with nails. Therefore, it's in very good condition.

Please note that the item is in good, used condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
