Cupboard or bookcase, teak, glass, Denmark, 1970s

This eloquent cabinet of Danish origin is based on an elongated construction of three columns, offering a variety of different storage possibilities. A sophisticated composition is created by the arrangement of different open and closed compartments. The upper part is arranged through differently shaped cabinets, each furnished with a different front, with or without (glass) door panels. The bottom is equally structured with three cabinets. This means that you can hide your belongings by placing them behind the doors or be stowed in the shelves with the open and clean layout, allowing the user to display objects such as books and glassware to one’s taste. A variety of frame sizes create an elegant and playful entity. The interiors of the compartments can be lightened up by a built-in lamp. Taking every stylistic realization into account, the craftsmanship and creativity of the creator is truly evident in this piece.
