Danish Art Deco Lounge Chair in Mahogany and Floral Upholstery

Armchair, fabric, mahogany, Denmark, 1930s

This lounge chair owes its elegancy in the way the corpus is built: a thin frame that rests on beautifully sculpted legs that allude to the stylistics traits of the artistic Art Deco movement. The seating area is upholstered in a fabric of flora and fauna motifs accompanied with illustrative ribbons executed in beige and black. Considering every stylistic decision, this chair radiates a sophisticated appearance structured in a classic way.
Please note that the fabric is in used condition with wear and some tears. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
