This foldable stool is designed and made by the Danish designer Poul Hundevad. The cross-legged frame features a patinated black leather seat that allows the user to fold it together for transport or minimal storage.
Poul Hundevad (1917-2011) was trained as a carpenter and for a short while owned his own cabinet making company. Hundavad is known for designing furniture with historical references. Such as the burial stools mentioned above but he also has pieces that are inspired on ancient Egyptian thrones and chairs.
