Olavi Hänninen for HMN Huonekalu Mikko Nupponrn Lahti, pair of 'Bumerang' lounge chairs, blue fabric, mahogany, leather, Finland, 1960s

This set of armchairs in solid mahogany is designed by Finnish designer and interior architect Olavi Hanninen for HMN Huonekalu Mikko Nupponrn Lahti. The model features crossed legs on each side which have the shape of a boomerang, hence its name. The backrest is divided into slats and the armrests are finished with leather straps. The seating leans slightly backwards and creates a dynamic look whilst at the same time creating a wonderful sitting comfort.

The pillows are upholstered in a kings blue fabric, which shows signs of age and use with some color fading. Please note that we advise reupholstery before shipping.
