Kazuhide Takahama for Simon Gavina, set of 12 'Tulu' dining chairs, leather and steel, Italy, 1968.

The 'Tulu' chairs were designed by Kazuhide Takahama and is one of the first models that applied the rod, back in time a renewed way of tube bending. The slim tubular construction frames the black leather seat in a sophisticated manner. The model is stackable, which makes this a very versatile piece and easy to store.

The chrome is slightly patinated. The black leather upholstery is in aged but good condition. Please note that the item is in good, used condition. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
