Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem, ash, leather, the Netherlands, 1960s

The founder of Houtwerk Hattem, Ate van Apeldoorn, designed this lounge chair in the early 1960s. It features high-quality craftsmanship that can be seen at the wood joints on the frame. Two square frames on both sides hold the rods for the leather seat and backrest. The patinated, black leather contrasts perfectly with the blond ash wood.

Please note that we have more of the chairs in our collection.
