Dal Vera pair of 'Les Arcs' chairs, selected by Charlotte Perriand, pair of dining chairs model 'Les Arcs', black leather, chrome-plated metal, circa. 1970

This well-constructed pair of chairs were manufactured by Dal Vera and selected by Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) for Les Arcs, a ski resort in the Alps in the southeastern of France. The project was one of the largest in Perriand's career. This design has a robust and strong appearance made possible by the use of materials, such as cognac leather and chrome-plated metal. The frame is sleek and beautifully bend into shape. With the presence of patina, this pair carries real uniqueness and distinctiveness.
