Claudio Salocchi Coffee Table in Rosewood and Walnut
Claudio Salocchi, coffee table, rosewood, walnut, Italy, 1960s. Italian designer Claudio Salocchi provides a clearly structured coffee table with a strong visual effect and a combination of walnut and rosewood. On low height the quadratic side table is divided in four squares allowing decorative items to be stored. Two wooden plates may be placed upon the squares with their wooden or their black laquered side to be seen. On the outside the table it decorated with a black horizontal line. Overall Salocchi accomplished an almost architectural effect on the basis of a square.
