Set of two lounge chairs, in beech, metal and fabric, by Claude Vassal, France, 1950s.
A pair of modern armchairs in black and red upholstery. These chairs show an interesting combination of materials and get therefore their unique appearance. The base consists of black coated tubular steel. With the cross connection, the frame shows interesting lines and a graphical expression. The seating is L-shaped and upholstered in two contrasting colors. The beech wooden armrests emphasize the open character of these chairs and are a nice natural addition. Claude Vassal worked often with manufacturer Claude Delor.
These easy chairs are upholstered in red and black fabric. The red fabric is in good condition. The black shows major fading. Therefore we advise reupholstery. This is possible in any kind of leather or fabric of your choice.
